Duluth, MN – Tommy Archer and the No. 54 c3controls Chevrolet Camaro are poised for action this weekend in the 8th round of the Trans Am TA2 Muscle Car Challenge at the famed 4 mile Road America located in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. This picturesque and historic track winds its way through the hills and countryside of central Wisconsin, creating great racing memories for both drivers and fans. The Next Dimension 100 race will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 9:30am CST with a strong field of over 29 TA2 cars and will be joined by the TA and TA3 series. This race will be nothing short of exciting, with over 60 cars taking the track for the 100 mile/25 lap race.
The Archer Brothers team drivers of Tommy Archer and Nate Stokey are coming off an unusual and tough race weekend from Mid-Ohio two weeks ago, fighting off gremlins in the car throughout the race weekend. But the determination and focus of the Archer Brothers team is as strong as ever. Tommy is excited to return back to Road America since his last visits in 2006 and 2008, both landing him in victory lane with 2 wins in the SCCA World Challenge Series. “Road America is one of those tracks you just have to love and respect at the same time,” says Tommy. “I’m anxious to get back in top form at the front of the field in the new striking blue and yellow c3controls Camaro.”
